Brookfield Engineering Science Technology Academy or BEST Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school serving TK-12th grade homeschool and online independent study students in San Diego, Orange, Riverside, and Imperial Counties. We are fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

BEST Academy prioritizes the capacity to meet the individual needs of students to continue to his or her public school education, as well as strive towards a four-year collegiate goals or career pathways in an individualized program. We offer students opportunities to engage in college and career readiness programs of choice and earn career certifications or maintain access to a four-year college with comprehensive University of California A-G approved courses.

We offer our students a personalized learning environment with customized curriculum, online learning options, and live classroom instruction. Students connect to their learning communities through engaging field trips, clubs, and high-interest programs. Our personalized guidance and support ensures students have the foundational skills and confidence in pursuing their passions and interest for successful 21st century college and career pathways.
