Sierra Satterstrom

My name is Sierra Satterstrom and I'm one of the TK-8 Education Facilitators at B.E.S.T. Academy. I have my BA in Elementary Education and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction with a certificate in STEM education. I grew up in northern Arizona but have lived in San Diego for the past 10 years. I began teaching in 2010 and am fortunate to have taught in Arizona, the Dominican Republic, and throughout San Diego. During my time in education I have worked as a general education teacher, as well as a STEM Specialist and Reading Interventionist. I am married with two elementary aged children. We love road trips, ice cream, and taking our dog for walks. I absolutely love teaching and helping students find their spark. I look forward to an amazing school year and seeing your children grow!
